Port Arthur's historical heritage - four days/three nights

Day one

Visit Tasmania\'s fastest growing wine region, the Coal River Valley. Grab lunch and a bottle of local wine at Meadow Bank Estate Vineyard and Restaurant.

Get stopped by the cop at the Copping Colonial and Convict Exhibition, en-route to the Tasman Peninsula.

Day two

Take the morning to enjoy a walk along the scenic foreshore trail that connects the park to the Port Arthur Historic Site. This is a day to bring the camera along as there are may things to see at the Port Arthur Historic Sites:

    The Penitentiary
    Separate prison
    Dockyard
    Grounds and Gardens
    Coal mines historic site

At night time, unwind and enjoy a relaxed BBQ in the park.

Day three

Spend your morning at your own leisure before checking out the surrounding natural scenic features including the magnificent rock formations at Eaglehawk Neck and the Remarkable Cave near Port Arthur.

Later at night enjoy the Ghost Tour at Port Arthur Historic Site. Join the latern-lit walking tour to experience Port Arthur\'s history by night.

Day four
